Rates & Timelines
Translation is invoiced according to word-count. We offer both English to French and French to English translation services. Regular rate is currently set at 28 cents/word*. Original document word-count serves as basis for invoicing. This rate may vary depending on the technicality and size of documents to be translated. The technicality of a document is assessed when the project is submitted. The usual delay for texts up to one thousand words (1,000) is 24-48 hours. Deadlines for texts over one thousand words must be discussed. One must figure approximately 24 hours for each additional thousand words, but this timeline can be reduced depending on customer needs. All timelines are established and approved beforehand. A surcharge might be requested for rush jobs. All documents are proofread and formatted prior to delivery to customer. How to proceed?
The current rate for these services is $60 an hour*. Deadlines for such services may vary according to size and exactness of documents submitted and tasks to be performed. They must therefore be discussed. How to proceed?
